What about instead of one turn at a time, one run at a time? So one person spends 550 turns, then the other one does, etc. Once they've each made, say, 10 - 20 runs, the game ends, highest net wins. No kills.

That's too bad. I've played III, IV, and V, and V is by far my favorite. No more unit stacking, for one thing - wars are so much more interesting than the old doomstack.

With attacks, messages, and aid all done from the drop down on the scores page, the chance of anyone actually /looking/ at your public warlord notice is virtually nil. Is there any way it could be made more public?

Ehh. . . if that guy in Vacation is long-term gone, maybe. Otherwise, they've still got about 3 bil total net. It's kind of silly to say "they're overthrown" only to have all that net come right back.

You can also set other clans to "ally" to cut aid costs. Because having everybody in one clan can lock land away from teammates or require extensive coordination and land-dropping (and the land farm isn't always in a clan), having a team split between two clans can be the best of both worlds.
