I'm fine with that as well. Just don't want the market to be abuseable.

QuoteHow about a round with a public market, but no mercs?

I feel like that would mess with a lot of playstyles/strategies and make people reconsider their approaches, and would also give troop production more value.

But maybe I'm wrong. I think it would be fun, though.

We've had a couple no mercs rounds, actually. Don't know if the playerbase is currently large enough to support a no mercs round though.

I am for getting rid of it entirely.

Ok, Snare, maybe cool it with the personal insults? You've been gagged for that before. I'm not a mod or anything, but calling someone a sociopath seems a little extreme. You've always been a little too ready to descend to that level when talking about internet rats. Chill bro, its just a game. Also, its spelled "petulance".

Wow, thanks for the compliment Sevah. Truly appreciated.

As for your request to join the clan, I never saw it. It could have been declined by someone else in the clan leadership though. I would have been somewhat hesitant to let you in, given our past rivalry and antagonism though. Would have required some negotiations.

QuoteWhat did you guys do for a whole month? As far as we're concerned you should be on 100b nw and 1m land. Pathetic scattered lot of you couldn't even pull ahead when we handed you the set. As soon as we started using turns to destroy networth, volk panicked and bombed a 9 billion NW lead. Since then he's frantically pmed several people on the forums, probably even logged into the ol' AOL instant messenger to recruit fellow brown nosers to take up arms against us evil-doers. It's been quite entertaining.

Not as entertaining as watching you guys blow 2 trillion cash on a failed lock attempt, and then run around like headless chickens afterwards trying to find ways to beat us. As you well know, aside from Disl catching Capitan on low leaders, most of the net we had built went in to destroying the net you guys generated with your cash. Thanks to the spies I was continuously able to get on you guys, I know that your cloaked Fox had close to 4 bil NW on him at one point, but then I'm sure you already knew that. Anyway, we killed all that net, so I hardly "blew a 9 bil NW lead" (that I never had in the first place). I built the clan to defeat landlocks, and that's what we did. Perhaps we could have been more efficient about it, but eh.

As for the people who've joined... I haven't PMed anyone on these forums in months, probably years. Not sure how two people joining is me "frantically" doing anything anyway, I barely had to lift a finger. Like I said, people don't like you guys.

Hey, not my fault if people don't like you guys. Maybe if you guys were a little less cocky, people wouldn't be lining up to whoop your butts. Also, we've added two people, so that's 7, not 8. As for you guys, based on attack patterns there are at least 5, maybe 6 people working on your side. It's hard to tell exactly, because you guys keep clan hopping and/or not joining a clan at all. So who's the one who's scared? The team that clan hops to avoid retaliation or the group that has been clanned, announcing who they are the entire time? The teams are nearly as uneven as you claim, and from where I'm sitting, I'm not the one who's scared, especially seeing as you've been desperately scrambling from strategy to strategy trying to counter us.

Yes, the materialistic capitalist oppressors clearly do not understand the concept of a glorious communistic cooperative, in which each gives according to his ability and receives according to his need.

Quotebyakuya isnt even with us... A great first step to fighting a battle is knowing who your enemy is so you're welcome.

Funny that he was holding a great deal of your cash at one point, and participated in other activities that you guys were doing then.

Clans / Re: The Redwall Liberation Army

Due to his expressed desire to achieve tyranny over the peace-loving workers of RWL, his use of missions usually reserved for all out war, such as murder and steal on the members of the revolution, as well as a most unfortunate incident where he attacked a member of the Liberation Army while they were running turns, Sevah is hereby declared an Enemy of the People. All rights to peaceful coexistence with the Liberation Army are now null and void, and his place in the glorious Worker's Paradise is rescinded. Vive La Revolucion!

QuoteI will personally treat sacks as a declaration of war.

Noted.

QuoteI want to say it is commendable that RLA has not tried to lockdown the land influx even though they had many opportunities to do so and for that I am grateful.

Well, thank you. We wanted to differentiate ourselves from most clans (and you guys last round) by deliberately not trying to hold the land. It also would have made the clans growth slower by limiting the land access for the indies. With the sporadic nature of our runs, achieving 5 bil NW in just under 4 weeks would have been a lot more difficult if we had been locking land too. As is, the massive amount of troops we've generated should keep land flowing nicely for the rest of the round, no matter what Sevz tries.

QuoteBut a bit of criticism: Seems silly to have a 5-member clan in a server of 15 active players, one of which is Land Farm. Even more ridiculous this 1/3 of the server has unlimited Foreign Aid to bypass troop costs and reinforce their clanmates with defense at will. Otherwise the clan does not seem belligerent in their play-style which I respect.

Well, it's actually a better proportion than you guys last round, when you had 3, and eventually 4 people working together in a server of about 7 total players. That said, the 5th member was actually a bit of an accident, someone clicked the wrong button when the clan was being put together, and I decided he could stay because having a third troop holder was actually really useful. When I was initially putting it together, I had only invited 3 other people to make the clan with me.

QuoteI hope to grow my empire without total war and fighting over land monopolies the next 2 months. I cannot speak the same for the other scouters. Good luck you all either way!

I'm sure Sevz and probably Snare will try to give me a fight, but I'm kinda disappointed I won't get a chance to test the clan against you three. You made a pretty formidable team last round. If we sack you a whole bunch will you try to lock land again? :p Anyway, good luck man.

Well, then you had a 5X aid limit while in the clan.

Its 3X for unclanned players, 5X for clanned players. Being in a clan has certain advantages, that's one of them. You guys were all unclanned, that's why it was 3X for you.

As for the rest... eh, we'll see.
