Since i've been admin, RWL has had very few serious problems. I've helped us get through all the issues, and we have had a flawless half a year. So why do we always feel the need to promote people for no reason? Sure, windy is a nice guy, but he hardly has the leadership qualities of an admin!
So on the staff forums for the last while they've all seem to be deciding without me that windy should be an admin too! Like i haven't done enough on my own? We don't need any more bloody admins! I'm doing everything that needs to be done and more. But no matter how much i protest, they just keep outvoting me and whatnot.
Why have i put all this effort in only to find that my position is being filled by more and more people? I won't sit here while we promote everyone to a position i worked hard to get into!
Yeah, if anyone deserves to be an admin, it's me. :D

Windy has a strong background in this stuff plus a level head in all matters... and its not like all of our admins are as active as they need to be.

I agree with you that we don't need any more admins(I even voted AGAINST the issue like you did, and still we were "outvoted"). Sure, windy would be great as admin, but seriously, we have enough staff members as it is, and we're managing fine.
I'm not happy about this either, but I'm not thick enough to go off complaining about it in public view.
Thanks Shael for catching that. I just logged in about the same time you moved it to the staff forum. I may disagree with you most of the time, but I know you are out for the best for RWL.

Ok, I was gonna blow this off, but this is enough. You are a cool person Peace, but don't you think you are taking this a little too personally? And why are you talking about this issue in the GD? If you need to talk to someone about this stuff, IM me. This should not be for public viewing, it's a staff argument, and when you agree that an issue should be kept in the Staff Room, it should stay there. Always honor your commitments.
Urrg, if windy WAS an admin, he could move this topic back to the staff forum. I just came on line to find 24 hits on this post, and 8 people on line.

Sheal, the vote does matter. I am not going to say what all the different types of votes are here in public view, but for Staff promotions there are 5 votes, Retto gets 2 votes, Admins get 1, Mods only advise. Thus, all I needed was Retto?s vote and it would be 3 to 2, I win. You should really know the rules by now.
Peace?s problem is that he is always trying to get some hair-brained idea through, like that ?select people only game.? But can never get anyone to agree. The more people to try to get the majority, the less likely he can trick anyone into it.
Back to the issue, windy is on line a lot and can?t even do his Mod job because those powers don?t seem to work. Who knows, maybe getting him into the controls could fix some of the problems we are having? This is not the time to back down windy, you have been here and put in more time then Peace. Stand up and take what you have earned.

Me and Peace are the same level of admin as you are, and somehow all of our decisions end up in your favor.

You all know how long I've been a part of this community. Somewhere down the line once you have been a part of something this long some people tend to think that it owes you something. That a path that you don't want to go down. As for myself I've had the thought creep into my mind once or twice, but I'll admit that being that "bad guy" doesn't exactly make people want to do much but hate you, but thats another topic. Peace you talked about being professional. I'll be frank with you. That was very unprofessional. That is really the point here. Besides your point, and I agree with you, that we have to many admins right now. I think you owe this community an appologie for your actions. I won't say anything about the other admins because that is between you and them if you want to smooth things over. But I believe you acted unprofessional and you should be held accountable. The pent up furstrations of every admin put together into a boiling pot where it can explode at each other, right in the publics eyes? That's a great way to for societies to crumble, when its power heads turn against each other in the viewing eye of the public. Goodness, it feels like someone walked into kindergarten again.

This needs to be in the Staff forum.
You think we need people who can make up their minds? Our staff was doing perfectly fine before you were promoted to admin. I was always active on the forums, RWL was my life. I was always thinking up activities and topics for the members so that the RWL forums would be a worthwhile place to be.
And then you came along, and eventually started to exert your authority over everything. All anyone has to do is just look through a couple topics in the staff forum to see that you definitely have way too much influence on our decisions. You're lucky that the rest of us have tolerated it until now. If I was as rash as Peace was, I would've complained to Retto a long time ago.
Maybe the issue of windy's adminship belongs in the staff forum, but I'm perfectly fine with this being in public view. It's seriously time for them to realize.
I'm not sure what facts you have to back up my "undecisiveness", but I'm sure that our members don't appreciate a liar being in charge of their forum.

Geez, you guys seriously have no idea how hard it was too. In the staff forum, we kept apologizing to each other for what we were saying, making sure no one was taking it seriously. Well, the insult throwing part was actually kind of fun.
It's a shame Retto never showed up, we had a script for him too. His position was to believe that only he alone can decide who gets promoted, and he considers firing the entire staff.

The actual joke was that someone had taken over the forum, and that was done only after it became the 1st. The rest was only set up so the joke would not have been called fake right off the bat. It just did not seem practical to have the big prelude fight all on one day as many may not have signed in during the day to watch.
I will give thumbs up to Neo that, although concerned, said he would be more worried if it was not salved by the end of the 1st.
We did a lot to try to make this sound convincing. We even had posts on our forum with topic names so it sounded like we were also fighting behind the seines, just wondering if anyone caught us on line viewing or posting in them?

lol... My favorite character was Peace. I especially liked the part where he messed with the administrative powers. But the part where Shael called Wolf Bite old, that was a good one too. Overall, I give the performance 4 out of 5 stars. Even though it was started before April Fool's Day... Not to upset anyone, but I'd like to ask why we need more authorative figures? If we gain anymore, all the Admins will have left to govern are the Mods, and then the Mods will have nothing to do... (just a thought, no offense or re-intiating of past hostilities, even if they were false)
