They can't store as much food on the market, so it is all open to being sacked (as opposed to the situation on reg where it is all market stored).

Sharp: not sure what you mean by storing stuff on the market. Since you can't pull it, it is only ever useful to you again if it sells.

EDIT: oh, marketed net still counts to your total net. That will have to be remedied. Forgot about that.

ah fair play

changes sound good, any thoughts on maybe helping solo indy play?

This should help solo indies if they are smart enough to price their goods reasonably ^_^

But we'll see what happens during this round.

yeah i can see the benefits but for long term play theres still a limit, more cash doesnt nescasarily mean net growth, they will hit the point where the land peaks and they just keep making more cash than troops from the market

sorry horrible spelling my spellcheck has disappeared

yea, that is still a problem. I have a potential solution, but it is a rather involved process that won't be doable for a while. If you have suggestions, feel free to let us know.

no solid ideas really, though one thing that sounds quite handy would be a building/spell or something of the sort which reduces the upkeep of troops by a small percentage per which could not improve a long term strat but increase the current net cap slightly perhaps

it would be one of these small changes

dont mean to come across to dislike the ideas by the way

Bug that could be abused:

Normally you can only sell a certain percent of your troops to mercs, and then have to wait before you can sell more. If you put 25% of troops on market, then click sell to mercs, you can repeatedly do that to eventually sell all your troops without the waiting time.

You're right! Two things that need to be changed then:

Marketed net should not count toward total net anymore so that the market cannot be a storehouse.
The merc sell button needs to only appear once goods have reached the market.

Keep the feedback coming :)

EDIT: Shael informs me that marketed net is already not counted, so never mind that first one.

The market sell feature is great. First run went well thanks to Bloodwake gathering land.
This cuddlefriendy suggestion was brought to you by Sevz.

I noticed that Shael remedied the merc sell button so that it only works after your goods have reached the market. That should take care of things.

Also, I learned some neat stuff about camps and mercs while we were rebalancing the quantities. Your available mercs are multiplied by (land+2*camps), so if you build all camps, you actually get three times the usual amount of mercs! Now, you can't normally build all camps, but since mercs are less available now, a few camps are a good way to spend your extra cash if you need to in a hurry.

Aggressive and weak have no correlation. I know a bunch of weak people that are aggressive, and if they get aggressive towards the wrong people they get put in their place. Know your place.

Let's go, say that to mah face...5 words: I don't give a crap! >:

New bug:

Can't choose sell to mercs, even though troops have been on the market for 12.7 hours.

Shadow

It's possible that Shael set the timer for 48 hours, as was the autosell time before. I'll page her to the thread in any case, but if that's the case then that is also fine, I think.
