Given how much it costs now and the slow progress made on it I think we might not have teeth by then. Always going to miss out on some cool poo, someone needs to freeze me.

It's all good, I repurposed money donated to keep the site running to the staff and delegated a lot.

It is pretty stagnant, only real action I've seen so far is when I found someone loaded with resources on poor defenses and sacked them for a surprising sum of cash and food... and all they did was go into vacation mode. Like, yeah, awesome, wait me out. It'll work but how boring is that?

It's always nice to see members doing what they can when staff is not around. I helped run a site for a few years and it was pretty much the opposite, a bunch of whiny duck who expected us to do nothing but serve them on demand 24/7.

QuoteLooking forward, they foresee a world where biological storage would allow us to record anything and everything without reservation. Today, we wouldn't dream of blanketing every square meter of Earth with cameras, and recording every moment for all eternity/human posterity — we simply don't have the storage capacity.
This made me laugh. It's like moments that are not noteworthy and the concept of living in the moment don't exist to the writer, lol.

This is neat though I guess. Another superfluous advancement that doesn't solve a single issue important to humanity, but oh well, they can't all be antiseptics. Reminds me of those physicists who came up with a formula to predict at what angle a ponytail would hang... like... good job but you recycling or not leaving the water on the entire time you brush your teeth would be a bigger benefit to mankind.

Now THAT is some cool science.

This rats thing... I dunno how exactly to approach what I see as a problem because you guys are all so used to it, but it really does seem fairly retarded. There is no reason to attack with any other unit. Different attacks add depth to the game in terms of land captured and structures destroyed varying by unit used and this is just like... so boring to me. Just rats rats rats rats STD rats rats rats. I think it should at least become a 1:1 unit.

by the end of the round
Yeah that's not good enough, we should be aiming for as close to "by the end of the day" as we can in a game where you get full turns every day.

So we have

1. Someone willing to host it
2. Someone willing to manage it
3. Someone willing to do theme work and possibly a bit of coding

Not bad at all. Now it just needs that push from the discussion phase into the action phase. And someone with the $10 for a domain I guess lol.
