How do you get your food in 3.0

I buy enough from mercs to fund my runs
1 (9.1%)
I buy what I can from mercs and make the rest using foragers
1 (9.1%)
I buy what I can from mercs and I buy the rest from the PM
3 (27.3%)
I buy exclusively from the PM
1 (9.1%)
I make my own food using foragers

 Well if you are really trying to help then I appreciate it, but I don't know enough about this game to even know if there is a threat in you knowing my settings so I'm gona play it safe and just trust Pippin who is an old friend.

There isn't any threat in helping people with the basics. Most vets have their own tricks up their sleeve, but balancing your economy is basic stuff, so feel free to share it!
