i have no idea what you just said, but many people have tried to open attack op, i even tried on some guy i knew it would work on, and it failed, or said it succeeded but didnt actually open an attack opp. there is something wrong with the spell. the way it trails off...

leaves you hanging

Development / vacationers

how about that for every day beyond the original time limit someone stays on vacation, their assets get taxed. say they lose 5% of everything per day, and it goes onto the land farm. this would need tweaking, but you get the general idea

Strategy / Re: Rats vs. Stoats
April 30, 2007, 09:37:56 PM
if i have to pick one to mass.. stoats.

when i want an attacking army to annoy the guy in first ill usually buy about 40mil rats, and they die so quickly ill be down to less than 15mil after 21 attacks

they are very cheap though :P

Your Leaders tremble at your attack on such a strong opponent. Many desert!
Missions: Success
Your Leaders battle it out with Gladius Ignis's...

this is the message i get when using the "create attack opportunity" attack
it also does not do anything, he is still maxxed

whats wrong?

Strategy / leader ratio
April 25, 2007, 06:41:47 PM
beyond the fact that you lose leaders per turn, is having more than 175 ratio a bad thing?

Strategy / Re: attacking

i do something like this

my troops>their troops=go for it
my troops=their troops=go for it if it rats or stoats
my troops<their troops=try once if it rats or stoats

but no, ive never actually calculated all the relevent values lol

Anyone else get that feeling of mild amazement, or am I just the only one that leaves and comes back semi-regularly to check on stuff?

thats me to a tee

another suggestion for you: lets do a turbo round with half the game as a clan of rat massers and the other half as stoat massers and see who wins  8-)

Strategy / Re: Rats vs. Stoats

rats vs stoats? who cares? leaders own em both. consider:

get lots of leaders, leader loot with 100% huts and demolish huts til u have 175 ratio

build all the land on camps

espy the person you are attacking: if they are massing rats, buy a few mil stoats and smash them or vice versa

demolish camps, put 100% land on huts

they hit you back with the troop they are massing, which does no damage to you whatsoever and brings you back to 175 leader ratio. (they, on the other hand, have very poor cashing and feasting abilities and will probably end up losing a nice chunk of their massed army trying to recover)

of course you could just hammer them with leader attacks but i like have more leaders and save loyalty to recover resources on the next run

troops massers are incredibly easy to beat unless they are VERY good

I realize that this is probably a well known strategy, but it kinda makes the question of which troop is better a little pointless.
