Personally I thought this round was a stinker due to annoying diplomacy, constant kills and other such issues (such as me being onlined and losing all my money haha) but still, here are the awards and my choices:
Best player: Holby most probably, was smart and produced a bunch
Worst player: TS, end of
Best leaderer: Eh, probably Holby
Worst leaderer: dunno
Best indier: Probs TPD, grats to him for some good work
Worst indier: TS?
Best newcomer: I'm not sure, Pac-man maybe?
Most annoying: Being onlined and losing 200bil or so cash >:( Or, you know, producing about 600bil over the round but losing it all due to a kill, repeated sacks and steals. At least the methods were kind of varied.
Best clan: None were spectacular, KM didn't produce much considering their line up...GLaDOS is probably my pick due to the net we produced, but I'm obviously biased in this category ;)
Worst clan: Sorry, probably Marlfox. Unless REG were intended as a serious clan, in which case it's easily them.
Biggest surprise: The round sucking?
Biggest disappointment: Lack of trust and lack of skill, oh and the constant kills and THE ROUND SUCKING :(

Yes, we did produce net, before you do the whole "lol it's all tpd and redrum." If I wouldn't have lost all my cash, combined with the net mike aided you to keep you in first, we may have won. I produced about 600bil cash over the round. Don't praise GLaDOS without me, I supplied their runs and you and purp only got talking because I tried to be diplomatic. I was even named GLaDOS.

I wasn't really a part of KM as Kilk willingly excluded me despite me (supposedly) being co-leader of the clan. Did always seema bit convinent Neo losing control...how does one diplomatically take over a clan?
Anyway, the two things this round has proved is that:
- Diplomacy has it's place, but it shouldn't be the driving force of the round
- If this was representive of the "golden age," then I'm glad the site has moved on from barely producing any net and constant kills

Yeah I kind of sucked this round, I don't think I'm good at the clan leading thing or the whole diplomacy thing . . . to be fair though the whole HPR incident was completely out of my control

Don't sit out the round! Just don't get so caught up in the diplomacy that you can't do anything.
I'm pretty sure it was a bunch of nostalgia that led to this round sucking. People just can't accept that the game has changed and feel the need to return to the days of no net and hours wasted on diplomacy. That's my view, anyway. Best round I was in had a peak of about 30bil net and just straight out war, but I digress. Wasting like 5hours a day on msn convos (usually at 10-12pm for me) is quite a fun way to spend the round...
That's the thing though. KM gave everyone so many opportunities to go to outright war, and everybody didn't. The oldies tried very hard to cause trouble, and nobody did.
True enough, but the diplomacy made it impossible. My clan was only really me, purp and blue eyes, and purp and blue eyes were both loyal to KM due to the convuluted diplomacy. Marlfox was too weak to do anything, Proxy did the great job of murdering indies, and by the time fleet showed up it was to late to do much...if things were less convuluted and more simple it would be funner. Also, the fact KM had half the serves oldbies might be part the reason nobody went to war with them, lol.

Does the fact that I knew more surprise you? It is a well known fact that I am awesome (at least its well known by me >:D)
Really though I broke out the diplomacy this round instead of doing my normal shock n' awe aggressiveness... was interesting and lead to some cool new allies!

I did do something. I made enough net to oust KM and persuaded my clan to help me, but misfortune messed up that plan literally on the last day and pretty much gave me no option but to go for a good finish.
Okay, Firetooth. I apologise for saying you did nothing. You did a great job this round, congratulations, I hope you enjoyed it. :)
