 It appears iBoze has finally died. All of those who I host images for.... I guess you'll have to find another server. Sorry.

 In Kilkenne's "RWL NEWS UPDATE", he makes a valid and interesting point. If forum members don't want to follow our rules, why don't you make them up? Perhaps this will strengthen the community.

What are your views on gagging, leaving, complaining, etc?

What should the acceptable rules be?

Put down your ideas, and maybe we can get rid some things and make some ammendments.

(Note that you may still not use profanity to show what is and what is not acceptable. Until new rules are created (if ever), we will continue to enforce the current rules with the iron fist of wrath).

 In light of recent events, I have decided to leave my own game. Why? Simple, really. It's the cool thing to do. You see, people get mad at me. So then I act like I'm leaving. People post happy posts and say "don't leave"! It makes me feel good about myself. I make sure to fill my godby p0st ful of ponctoation and spelling mistaes;. I lurk around the forums, reading the wonderful things people say to me. Sometimes, I use one of my multiple forum accounts to write messages of admiration to myself. After a few weeks, I return. Everyone misses me. I'm cool again. Sure, I've played the game for far few months than others, but leaving and returning turns me into a respected member of the RWL community. I R CO0L.

 Our host (infodoma.com) appears to have gone out of business without notifying its users. iBoze.com will have to make an immediate move to prevent downtime. However, the servers may go out at any time, as the service shut down was scheduled to be on the 25th of July. I will do my best to secure a new server as quickly as possible. When I do so, this server will be locked down, the databases will be transferred to the new server, and you will be without RWL or the forums for ~24 hours (as the DNS, or name servers, must update). If this server goes down, do not panic. I have been making daily backups of the forum and game databases. If you are hosted by iBoze.com (Ad and others), I suggest that you back-up your files and databses immediatly. Hopefully, our next server will be faster and with less downtime (though I have found Infodoma to be excellent until recent months). For those of you who have not been receiving validation codes, this is due to the fact that the mail server is down. See you soon! Keep in mind that any actions done within the game or on the forums may not be saved if this server goes down before I can secure a new one. I am making daily back-ups, however, so only a day of play will be lost.

 Who has been assigned the task of actually calling up the Chicago area hotels? Aden? If it has not been decided, we need to decide now. The farther ahead we book in advance, the cheaper it will be to book the hotel. Additionally, anyone who has not done so, please go take the RedCon survey so that Aden can give us a head count. Whover calls up the hotels will likely be asked for a rough attendance estimate.

One more thing... if you live in the Chicago area and are willing to help in any way, please drop a line here.

 Well, there are lots of Redwall recipes on the net. It might be fun if some of the people who live in the area of the Con (aka a short drive) could prepare some of this food. It would enhance the theme... and we could get something to eat! All I'm gonna say is that I won't be trying any of the dishes first.

 Please try to be realistic. Simply don't select "Other" and say "Alaska" just because that is where you live.

 The RWLCon topic has been moved to the Redwall Convention Forums. These forums include RWLCon, RedCon, and SEUSRC. All topics concerning RWLCon and other conventions should be placed here.

 As of now, I, Boze, supreme ruler of all that is not, etc, etc, declare that the use of nouns in any way, shape, or fashion, is prohibited. G'day.

 Just a little poll on what everyone is up to.

 I would like to thank everyone who reports violations of this forums rules to the admins via the "Report" feature. It makes our job much easier.

However, when reporting, please include a direct quote of what you find offensive (this will help us find the violation easier). Also, if you feel you are being violated, please include your name. The report feature is anonymous, and therefore will not let the admin know who you are unless you do so.

Basically, all you need to do is include a quote of the offense. There is no need for you to provide your input on the situation. Due to the high volume of reports, this will make our jobs that much easier. Thanks!

 Apparantly, the Terrouge forums and RWL were attacked! We have gotten it fixed and Retto has sent word to Kenny. Hmm... to bad they didn't take these forums down  ;) .

 A few weeks ago, I compiled a list of IP's that flagrantly disobeyed our TOS or hacked one of our game servers. I traced the IP's and discovered that a large number are proxies from Level 3 Communications. I contacted them and they sent me a response notifying me that they are currently investigating the matters and tracking down the culprits.

We are serious about these things. If you continue to disobey policy, I will personally take your first-born  :P .
