Title: RWL News
Post by: Sharptooh on October 08, 2011, 10:12:26 AM
I remember when PA did the redesign thing a while back he added an awesome RWL news column . . . it never really took off at the time but it was a really cool idea.

Is there any chance that it might get revived in the future? Instead of linking it from the homepage only you could also link to it from ingame too, possibly under the information section, I'm sure that'd drive a lot of traffic to it.

You could also have separate news for Turbo and REG, server specific news would be cool  :)

Yes but they haven't been updated for a long long time . . . at least as far as I know

can you please give me a link to the old login page as well Rakefur? I don't know how to access it.

OK, go to the home page, click either turbo or reg, like your trying to login, but without your password and username. Then click Login at the top left of the page.

Yeah I think you're right though.

Are you talking about the red homepage with the admin news?

Cool idea; would be interesting if someone could write up events like that.

Rake, the one on the old homepage isn't updated and it's buggy.

sometimes says skiff racers and occasionally networth increases/decreases.

I'm talking about the old black homepage if anyone remembers that? The one before the current one?

There was a section where players could submit news stories, a few players volunteered to be journalists and write news items for it, although I think only 4 items got written before it got abandoned.

If anyone is willing to write articles, I'd be glad to set up a section for it. :)

sounds like a good idea, should be something alright to read every week or so.
