JesterAverageJoe

Pretty fierce, this round.
And Gier continues to impress wherever he plays. Congrats!
Kinda nice to have more than a couple skilled players in a set, so thanks Windy for bringing some competitive edge :)
& Thanks West & Scorp for dispensing a healthy dose of PTSD to keep us sharp~
Quite.

Uiblis

Indeed.

Uiblis - I know noone really reads the signup message, but I did put a countdown timer in the banner as well :P
Seems like it goes weird at the end, but it's almost correct.

Congrats on having the most cash!

Uiblis

I see it now, my brain just totally never bothered to parse it.

Definitely on me haha

Gier

It was a fun set and honestly it could have gone anyone's way. Things started of with a good lock from Ryu. I tried to break it on 2 occasions but failed, making me spend all my loyalty and cash twice. I think it was West who eventually broke the lock. This rivalry would keep all of them (Ryu, Jester, West and ?) busy for the remainder of the set, making it tough for them to generate decent cash or networth.

With all that free land it was time for the leaders to start making loyalty. I was definitely behind on Windy and Ubilis at that point and didn't think I would catch up with the 21 hit limit. I did caught up though playing very aggressive (hence most offenses). Daily runs to scrape whoever had most land at that point, making loyalty with all remaining turns. It seems everybody sticked to 550 turn runs and nobody but me got any decent land to make loyalty on.

Spying around a lot I kind of knew where I was at. I think Ubilis could have passed me in the last week. It seems he burned some turns at times and started looting too late. He had enough loyalty to pass me but Wolf converts loyalty too slow to cath up. Windy was ahead of me too but I had the luck to hold on to 40k land a few times making a ton of loyalty.

Ryu

I was Sevz. The idea was to bait him into playing by using his name. And the few turns he did play were pretty impressive, suffice to say he still knows how to play.

I believe the lock was allowed to go on for so long was because of the limited attack limit which prevented players to grow too large to break me. It wasn't until West broke with skiffs that the rest of the server caught up. Getting killed was pretty funny though. Thanks for the fresh restart package Windy!

I ended up burning many turns because Jester and my schedules were difficult to align. Also mobile runs with Indy plainly suck, being more of a chore to run. As usual well done Gier. I think Marten is too OP with it's Merc bonus 😉
