history: Cast out of her family far to the north when she was just barely out of kittenhood, Griz has become a wanderer who walks with a dropspindle in her paws, spinning wool into yarn as she walks. At night and when she stops to rest, she knits all sorts of things (hats, scarves, etc) and sells them to others to make her way in the world. Although she is a wildcat, she is peaceful. Having journeyed far and wide, she has heard of Redwall Abbey and wants to make her way there, perhaps to take up residence because she is getting tired of wandering.
