General Discussion / The Emperor's Decree
December 16, 2006, 07:13:42 PM
First off, great to see you all again! For those who don't know me, I'm Dead Eye/Morzan/Silver Tounge. I was here for the first ever era of RWL, and for a long time I had a pretty big impact on RWL (not to be big headed) I was Emperor once on Regular, and was part of Rome and Blades and Sworn and worked for Ereptor during his age of complete control. So that's me. Now I'm an admin over at VI. For those who don't know VI (vulpine Imperium), it's an RP game made by Retto also, much like this game. It's rather fun, though almost nothing like this game I'm afraid. A few of our/your members have swapped games before. I know quite a few of you used to have accounts there.

In an effort to advertise for VI, along with have a blast, Terrouge and Vulpine Imperium have created an RPG Survivor Game called The Emperor's Decree. It will be rather fun, and Wolf Bite has given me permission to advertise here. I know he is going to ask, but I am also asking Shael here if there is perhaps a way to advertise for TED (The Emperor's Decree) on RWL's main page. In exchange TED will put up a Sponser page for RWL. I know your members have continued to decline in activity and numbers since RWL was formed. Regardless we are now that I got permission to advertise here.

For those who are wondering though, I am not a judge over at TED. Just an admin from VI, (Mayor Gordon R. Freemont there) trying to get our numbers up, as well as RWL. I have always wanted more members for RWL, so hopefully this helps both of us.

Ah...right. The advertisement-

The Emperor's Decree is a role-playing/fanfiction contest run by the Vulpine Imperium in conjunction with Terrouge Productions. Previous contests of its sort include ROC: Survivor, Questor's Bold, RedVenture, and Operation: Sandstorm and Mindstorm.

The Emperor's Decree is set in the Vulpine Imperium's past, in 1379, when Day Arndt Pritchard published his book, "Walkin' With Mah Paws In Lands Wiffout Laws, And Then Also In Some With".

More information can be found on the website: http://www.terrouge.com/ted/

As an added entertainment bonus, a teaser trailer has been released, and is viewable on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKQ-e1Gcx0s

----------
The trailer is pretty good, and more information can be found at VI or the FAQ's on the main page of TED. Please stop by and visit! Also, here is the link for VI- www.rovl.org/vi

Thanks for your time, and thanks Wolf Bite for giving me permission to post here! And hi to those who have stuck around who I know!

I think we should just blow up the whole place. It looks like some one hit it in the face with a rather large rock, and then half the face fell off.

It doesn't matter, this is RWL. Everyone holds a grudge. A year after I fought Loren Holby still wouldn't ever ally me. It happens all the time. People go across servers and beat each other up for things on the other server. It's how the game works. Or how the people who play the game work. Cloud is going to have to play with everyone going after him. And Beatles, don't try the whole "I don't carry grudges over and I won't to cloud" bull crap that I know you are going to say. Same with everyone else.

Possible Scenero(spl?)- You need some land. You see two people, same exact land. They have same amount of the troop you're planning to attack them with. You will more than likely get the same exact land from either of them. One is Cloud. The other is say...some one you don't know. Or Windy. Who do you attack? Exactly. Heck, if windy had more land than cloud, just by like 200 acres, you would still attack Cloud.

Guys, you all talk about advertising for RWL. Here's how you do it. We need at least 9 of us, probably the best 9 we can find, to go over there and show skill. Make friends, make enemies, represent RWL. Perhaps send 2 clans worth of RWL members there. Talking will happen, some will want to beat Peace Alliance and others on their own turf. They come over here. If you guys ever want to advertise for RWL and stop bi-a-tching, now's your chance.

Once again, what makes you believe that "challenging" Josh to virtually be killed is going to make him do it? He is the most hated person on RWL, he can only use cheap methods to win. And once again, he is cheap...but he is winning. I consider him one of the best.

Funny, I always sucked at this game. Yet through loyal friends and teamwork, I always managed to at least be a well known name and a threat to enemies, one way or another. Seems to me Josh is just gaining allies. And you say "well go by yourself" but than contridict yourself by saying half the game would kill him. How can Josh ever go by himself if ever single one of you would murder him or max him yourselves in 2 seconds. Idiotic. The fact of the matter is, Josh uses everything to his advantage, including allies. It's how the game works. And even if it is "cheap" it gets the job done. I'm sure some bold and victorious generals and commanders have used "cheap" tactics before and been called  heroes. For instance, isn't it cheap that the American soldier did hit and runs during the Revolution? Yet they are considered champions of their time.

Just food for thought.

News / Updates / Re: Messing up the servers
January 21, 2006, 05:30:30 PM
Well the first time RWL did this, VI had a problem too. VI seems to appear fine at the moment, no complaints thus far. I don't know much about coding or anything along those lines, but I figured it was just ROVL. Seems that it isn't, and the first set of problems were not connected.

Funny how when both Josh and Beatles returns, strange things start happening. Not blaming either one, but what a funny story. Our celeb banned-keep-coming-back-pain-in-butt member comes back who is always blamed for everything, and one of our oldbies-who-stirred-things-up-and-can-code-and-such members also comes back. And the system goes nuts. No wonder you two are going to get blamed. And blame each other...  :?

Man, I love Josh. He's amazing. Maybe a little immature, but I actually think I like his "team" more than this Rheorix person. Seems like they think they are the toughest, smartest, and greatest kid on the playground. Obviously you havn't met Josh yet...
