 hmm... you should have made a choice seen the movie and read the books...
not that I have read the books, I've just seen the movie...  not too bad...

 I have read the books and seen the movies. Also, I have read a lot of the other books by Tolkien. Great books. So many to read but worth while.

 I tried to read the Two Towers, but it was boring.  They need better word choice.

 Well it was written a ver long time ago, by Tolkien, very long time. But I think the writting style is magnificant. If you mythological related books, these collection of books are great.

 I loved the books and the movie. But in the second movie, the producers kinda made their own story. They didn't stick to the book as much as in the first movie. Still, they're both awesome!!

 I also read Silmarillion, which was the history of how the Middle-Earth came to be. Believe me, it's an IMPOSSIBLY DIFFICULT READ...

 yes, it was hard, but The Hobbit was nice. I liked all his books!

 What would make "Silmarillion" impossible to read?   Is it just a slow read, making it hard to keep your attention, or just odd word choices and such?

 You read a chapter, then start over. (This happens about fifty time) I would say that you kinda don't get what he's saying. It's kinda like TOO much detail!
