Can anyone briefly and succinctly explain all the in-game changes made in the past year or two to a poor chap who's about to play for the first time since, oh, I don't know, 2009 or 2010?

Personally, my money is on The King of Nothing, although I expect Meestir Amayzing and I Win! to make a run at the top as well.  Genocide will fade in the final week.

Where has the "I hate Shadow" thread or whatever it was called gone?  I assume it has been locked.   Unfortunately, it has also been deleted.  The two minor posts I made in it no longer show up under my "recent posts."

My question: Why?  I don't care if it was locked, but I at least want to see if anyone replied to my last post, gol' darn it.  What on earth is so offensive about the topic that it needed to be deleted so no one could ever look at any posts in it ever again?  It was just Sevz spouting off about how he was better than Shadow and no one taking him seriously.

I'm not sure what exactly determines how much a warlord can put into the bank (i.e., Cluny's hut), although it seems to be tied directly to overall networth. For example, having $100 million in net means you can only put about $1 billion in the bank.

Am I the only one who thinks this method is outdated?  Players can easily make $1 billion in cash in a handful of turns. What about the player who's been busy creating cash and has $50 or $100 or even $200 billion in cash?  I'm not good at math (that's why I'm a mass communications and graphic design major!) but it doesn't make sense that a player with more than $100 billion in cash can't even put $1 million of that (or 0.01 percent, I think) in the bank.

My suggestion: the amount of money you can put in the bank should be determined by how much money you actually have, not your overall net.  Players should be allowed to put, say, 10 percent of their total cash on hand into the bank.  It's ludicrous that players can potentially only put 0.01 percent of their cash in the bank.

Why is this important?  Because there's a big different between collecting interest on $10 billion in cash and $900m in cash!

What day is turbo usually reset?

Does anyone find it interesting that (as far as I can tell, anyway) there is not a single indier currently in the top ten?  And there is only one indier in the top 15?

I know it's apparent that a leader strategy is superior to an indy strategy, and that the game needs some tweaking, but the above statistic surprises me nonetheless.  Last time I played indiers still made up at least a third, maybe more, of the game, and I thought indiers working together (i.e., aiding before and after runs) could still mount an effective campaign.  So what's happened?

Rollseyes from the Elephant clan made the final blow

So last night as I finished up my run I noticed No. 10, Jaturawhatever, sending his net to Wha (6) before he made his own run, sending Wha to the top of the scoreboard.

Today Wha is dead.  Some dude (or chick) from the Awesome clan finished him off.

What is the dealio here?  Is there some clan war going on that I'm not yet aware of?  Because if there is, I want in.

I just used that for the subject to catch people's attention.  Sorry for any annoyance.

The real point of this topic .... I've been playing Turbo for a couple of days now and I feel like I'm fairly familiar with the game again.  I want to join a clan, but not just any clan.  I want an active clan with players who know what they're doing.  I hate joining clans that fizzle and die or where no one helps clanmates up the rankings, etc.  Too often RWL is filled with those kinds of clans.

So my question is, which clan in this round of Turbo is ready to kick some butt?

Or, to phrase it differently, which clan do I want to be joining?

The time has come for those of you who have scorned and mocked me in the past to pay.

My revenge shall be swift, it shall be sure, it shall be complete.

Don't all stand and cheer at once.  ;)

He's sitting at the top there collecting everybody else's net in his clan, but not doing anything or helping anyone out.  Way to go.  One less competitive clan for our clan to worry about, but it's too bad to see this happen to others in that clan.

I am no longer That's What She Said.  I fulfilled my goals and now I will be starting over with a clean slate.

On this evening Foxy Lady (#14) had approximately $400M in net murdered away, while What time is it??? (#17) and Tom Is Back (#5) also suffered smaller but not inconsiderable losses.

Let this be a warning to you all. Don't make me do it again.

So now that we have no leaders, how are you approaching this round?  Does this affect what you mass?  Whether you join a clan or not?  Whether you put troops on the market?  How many times you attack people in landgrabs?

Anyone know who Oda is?  Anyone been onlined by him this round?
