as I said the word is used for no reason other than to describe that the alter-ego I use in Redwall role-play online is anthropormorphic in an animalistic manner.

don't judge, I wish there was a different word I could use, but I don't know of one.

fursona

please no

yes, as in, what I would be if inhabited the world of redwall, NOT one of those weird people who have sex in fursuits.  "Fursona" is merely the best term I could find for it, as alter-ego doesn't work as well for some reason.

well, my fursona's name is Jethro Mortspear, 'Jethro' for Leroy Jethro Gibbs off of NCIS, 'Mortspear' for the very obscure character known as King Mortspear mentioned only once in the book Lord Brocktree as the father of UngattTrunn and Verdauga Greeneyes. After that I just picked the military rank that commands the most people but still has a good chance of being called into battle

Camel, if that's how you have to rationalize it 'cause you just HAVE to make everything insulting, you go right ahead.

So I got a simple fact wrong, that's not much of a burn to me.

@words

the M-14 and the AK-47 both shoot a 7.62x39 round. trust me I've looked into it.

at mid-range I completely agree with you although I do prefer assault rifles over shotguns, personally I like the M-14 'cause it's so accurate you can use it as a sniper rifle, it's semi-auto, and uses the same round as the AK-47, that way I can scavenge rounds from the enemy.

if the sword is properly maintained it won't get stuck, it will cut straight through. attacks with spears are pretty obvious and easy to block or dodge. a properly trained swordsman is a much trickier opponent. a spear is a good weapon that is swift and nimble, but against a sword it falls short, against a axe, mace or other similarly slow weapon, however, it's a pretty good tool

swords are more maneuverable than spears plus a sword can cut through a spear shaft

hey I didn't say that a sword would be my only weapon. I love M-14s.

.....that would be wasting a perfectly good short sword. Honestly, that's ridiculous! Swords are meant for one purpose---- to kill. And anyone who says that swords are obsolete needs to be reminded that a person with a blade is dangerous to someone with a gun out to 21 feet.

no I haven't Ian, not yet anyways. don't worry though once I get shipped off to whatever hellhole the marines ship me to,  I promise I'll kill plenty of terrorists with it.

so what's your opinion, do you think Jackson's a little off his game in following canonical details?
