Too true. But the books go a bit too far, with Chewie and Anakin dying. Anyway....

I dunno, personally I like the latest books...the whole Yuuzhan Vong deal is a pretty good twist to the whole thing. Then before that with Chewie dying, yet another good twist...but this is coming from a life-long star wars fan, so who knows?
