 For clans, you'll notice the appearance of a clan size bar. This'll tell you how many out of the max # of members you have for your clan. The bar is green until 11 or so, and then it turns red, indicating that you're getting close to the limit.

And does the limit have anything to do with Networth? Or just player numbers?

 it's 10 + # of players divided by 100...rounded up.
