Signups should be open now, but this is my first time messing with the reset tools Shael made, so hopefully I didn't break anything.
5. Unrelated (#39)
I can live with this
congrats Anathem
I don't feel like I had the opportunity to help enough people.
Was formerly Chopin's Nocturne and now Mein Gott!
Nice round ^^

Couldn't let sevz take first. :)
Good round. Thanks to sharp and vargarth.
Oh, and btw, Emperors isn't reset. Should the lounge be reset as well? I can't remember...
Hmm rank 9 I think I can live with that but I plan to do better this time.
And also who aided Tim heaps right at the end?
Congrats Volkov and Team Order.
I was working with Pippin, we took second and third after both changing race late in the round. Great round to for you all
Wow Sevah congratulating other people? This is unheard if :)
Forgot to log on and spend the rest of the cash, but we still won. Good job Order. I was going solo this round, but midway through, Order asked me to help them out, so I did. And I'm guessing thanks are due to Uiblis, since it appears he sent some aid at the last minute.
I was Legion. Only really ran for a week, made 600mil food net and exchanged to troops but got a ton got destroyed in suicides and breaks :( Didn't run for the last two days but still got most leaders haha.
You guys must've been been terrible to be holding that net on under 9mil leaders, lol.
Congrats to Sevz on a good performance, and well done to Order I suppose, but considering one leaderer netted more then you did as a did by himself...
QuoteYou guys must've been been terrible to be holding that net on under 9mil leaders, lol.
I had like 8 mil leaders and a 935 ratio or something. LOL. Didn't see a need to improve it the total leaders, it would have just hurt my overall leader defense.

Sevz had the whole round, more or less unmolested. Until I joined, they were getting hammered by murders and such on their net holder. Order produced a lot of net, but a lot of it was destroyed. For myself, I made like 500 mil net of food, then focused on cash production and started converting food to cash. My ability to produce was pretty much finished once I joined order though. I went from adding near 80 bil a day to my cash stockpile (as a wolf) to adding less than 30 bil. I think I would have been at least close with Sevz, solo. He didn't have that much of a larger cash stockpile than I did even the way things turned out. He peaked out at about 600 bil cash, maybe a bit more. I peaked near 400 bil cash and had 9 bil food left. Didn't get to convert all my food to cash and cash to net.

Sent it all to Volkov at the end. Credit to Uiblis for sending that last bit of net.
An interesting round to say the least
Congrats to Volkov for the win, and Sevah and Pip for second and third.
cheers, first and second would of been better but 2nd and 3rd is good enough considering started from scratch after 2 weeks

That's probably the most uninformed statement i've heard. If there wasn't a landfarm i'd have most defences by miles. Think I finished with 20% block rating (best out)

LOL. Mmk Sevz. Because you totally didn't have a massive troop defense at the beginning of the round that caused people to try to break you for land all the time. Also, you of course didn't have a partner to send your cash too when you had a high land total, so people couldn't sack you for lots of cash. You were more or less unmolested in the ways that mattered.
I was ditching networth so I could drop under 100m net and get a 20% bonus on a 175ratio with a 200% powered mission plus 10% race bonus on as many leaders as the server provides. (usually $35b per 50turns)
No choice but to get rid of the networth so I could access land. Players who had heaps of food net are extremely lazy and sloppy getting land from below. They wait for someone like me to scrape it up then they take it and leave it spread.
You need me. I'm the reason everyone scouts good land into the game. Without me redwall turbo would be fighting over the same 100k
We've had plenty of good scrapers over the years. Juska, Oblit, Holby (when he's so inclined), myself, ereptor... a few others I can't remember. It's not like you're the only one who know's how to do it, you were just the only one last round.
I'm a good scraper when I want to be.
I agree with Sevz though, most people don't scrape as much as they could. The problem was just heightened because everybody was unclanned, more or less.
I don't see why this is a "problem". Sure it makes you less productive, but isn't the point to find a way to be productive while keeping everyone else away from that?
even if land wasnt being produced, everyone would be running on similar land, so everyone would be producing less, maybe indys would suffer more

True, but this isn't about people dropping land or making land hard to acquire to make people struggle to get land, people don't run on good land to begin with.
When they don't, then neither do you. On average, it balances out.

Most of the top 10 were unclanned leader players
Every tried doing an open attack op on an unclanned leader? In fact ever tried doing an open attack op on an indy? The losses are terrible.
Back a few rounds ago when most people were clanned and open attack op didn't take losses people were able to scrape more easily, the current environment makes that harder and unless people start clanning up majorly, or the admins decide to change the rate at which players unmax then I doubt this will change anytime soon.

That's why I didn't beat myself up too much when I saw most people on decent land maxed out, I can't spend forever scraping and besides, if I finish on less land that means my rivals will finish on even less unless they're clanned or have some serious time to waste.
Good round all. Not gonna lie, I had no idea what was going on with my clan 99% of the time. Turns out we were actually helping Order or something...again so confused....I'll thank Vargarth for that.

I know this. It doesn't change what I said.

When I was unclanned, I was rarely lazy about taking land. I just had issues with everyone being maxed all the time. There are only so many leaders I'm willing to kill to unmax someone. Even so, I almost always scraped up more land than any other leader player. When I clanned up and went to net protection mode, I would drop land, leaving it spread as heck, but that was deliberate. I was trying to disadvantage all the other leader players.
