I'll echo what Volk said in the other thread - I don't agree with some of the tactics you used, but you definitely had tenacity.

Well, good round all. I thought I was gonna be able to buy my way to a win at the end there, but Sevz got in some well-timed attacks to knock me down, and sent up net to Promi for the win. So good coordination there, you guys killed a ton of our net right at the end of the round. Congrats on winning the most destructive round I've experienced in quite awhile.
Just want to say I appreciate both teams for letting me keep my 150 bil food, sacks are horrific when you have that many resources

I blame it all on Ryu. The most destructive player in the round alongside Snare. Then we also had Cloud and Lady Rose Eyes providing the resources.
Would have been hard to buy up that much networth Volk. Needed an extra trillion cash to cover the gap and if you had that kind of money I'd be stealing it.
I'm impressed with all of RLA. Very worthy challenge. Sharpy is as cute as a button.

Well, to cover the gap as it actually existed, yeah, I would have needed a tril.
You would have been hard pressed to steal from me when I had 17 mil leaders and you had 10 mil. If you hadn't gotten on and attacked + sent up net to Shoot though, I would likely have been able to buy enough. I was sitting on like 400b cash.

Confirmed, I bought out my mercs in the final 10 mins which gave me about 1.4b net.

It would be interesting to see a total tally of destruction from the last two months of the round. All I know is that it was dozens of billions of NW on both sides lol.
Also -- neverdull? More like Everdull. Not a nice person to communicate with ingame lol but I hope she sticks around. Did you guys pay her to spread land? :D

Well, this last round makes me wish I had been around when the game was in its heydey. It would have been nice to have a third main party to fight against so there were other victims for the perpetual camping and onlining, but hey.
Learned a lot. Fear me next round - I may not have kept enough net to have a finish in the immort but I have a foolproof strat to DESTROY ALL.
The old Turbo rounds would sometimes have 4-5 different clans fighting it out for the top spot. Those were the days...

If I remember correctly, it peaked somewhere around 4.2b net with about 1 trillion cash stockpiled before your standard attacks the other day.
Ah, ok. That's actually a bit less than I had estimated. Interesting. We could never get a spy because of the way leader math works. We figured you had a bunch of cash stockpiled from the random large chunks of cash that would appear and dissappear on the people we could spy though.

Echoing what had been said before, active but brutal round. Huge shout out to the landmakers this round. I really think you guys set the round up with all the scouting you did at the beginning of the round. I think it helped keep new players more active since there was land to be had.
I am looking forward to getting my life back, lol. I will miss the RLA FB message threads. If FB/smart phones had been around back in the hay day, this game would have been taken to the next level.
