As an authority on relevant Proms hosted anywhere, only here & Shoot's project https://notprom.duckdns.org (https://notprom.duckdns.org)(developed upon the QMT version) are the last bastions keeping the game as we know it from going completely extinct online~
I found like a space themed one once but it was entirely too complicated and I never got into it
Shoot's server is a rework of qmt. Cashing strategy (markets and tents) is arguably the strongest networth finish, even out netting leader loot. explore is significantly boosted and a land- diminishing returns counter makes multiple attacks less efficient vs pure exploring if gaining land is your goal.
As far as I know only 2 promisance games are up currently Rwl and Shoot's game.
Earth Empires with it's signature 'technology' mechanic is a completely different game from promisance. However the original promisance code was based on earth empires but removed research/technology ( which is a shame) There are a few (non-related) text based empire games like https://utopia-game.com/shared/ around.
