Hello all

I don't really go on the Internet that much any more because it's all terrible list articles & think pieces now but this was always one of my favoured websites

The current layout is confusing as all hell (particularly the front/signup page) just sayin' - I think this is a major issue.  I look at the front page and I don't know where I would begin to sign up?

Just come back from Thailand actually, visited koh phi phi which was a tropical paradise filled with awful 17-year-old American kids (I got stared at a lot which was weird, I think because I don't have a deep tan :P)
The best part was Chiang Mai in northern Thailand:

Wat Sri Suphan (entirely covered in silver)

(me as a sweaty english society lady in a silly hat)

Once upon a time there was a family of balloons - mum, dad and a baby. One night there was a thunderstorm and the baby balloon got really scared so he tried to squeeze into his parents' bed. There wasn't a lot of room so he let some air out of his his dad, but he still didn't fit. After a while he let some air out of his mum and was able to squeeze into the bed, but it wasn't very comfortable. He let a bit of air out of himself and finally he was able to get comfortable and get some sleep.

At the breakfast table the atmosphere was tense. Dad balloon looked at his son with a frown:

"Son, you've let me down, you've let your mother down - and worst of all you've let yourself down."

Yeah it was cold as all hell, we had to keep the fire burning 100% of the time... the old hippy couple who owned it kept supplying us with logs so it wasn't so bad

I haven't been anywhere as cool as shads but I did go to a cool and rad converted bus in the english countryside

(the wooden thing to the left with smoke coming out is the bathroom, both the bus and the bathroom area had a wood-burning stove)

you could eat your dinner and pretend to drive the bus at the same time

obviously you look like an idiot while using it but oh my god if it actually works

oh my goooooodddd

edit: you would have to play it in a lockable room or something because the temptation to scare/otherwise mess with someone playing one of these would be just too much

I don't actually think the whole EDI is that awful - I mean I did laugh when I first saw robo boobies but the way people have been talking about it I was expecting waaaaay worse (video games fans on the internet overreacting - no way)

I've been playing a lot of original playstation 1 games recently (big difference in graphics) so my overall reaction to ME3 is basically 'whoa man they can do that in video games now????'

I've just got Tali back, if that's any clue as to where I am? How far would you say I am through the game? I really have no idea

wondhond, you should pick up ME3 - I got it the other day and it's pretty great so far.

I play the Binding of Isaac every day after lunch and it's the best (when you are unemployed there is a lot of time for video games)
As I said, pick up the free extended cut DLC. For the sake of your own health. :P

Yeah, I know, I've heard about the ending and what happens already and I have to keep reminding myself not to get my hopes up but it's difficult :P Eh, the actual gameplay is good so far so I'm not all that fussed about bad endings, haha.
