windy, if we make it another year or so, let's do something for the 20th anniversary?  And by something, I mean meeting at an arranged time on the modern day equivalent of AIM/MSN Messenger :D

I unashamedly never liked the Spa Room, it's far too silly. But I hated the UMD as well. General Discussion is where it's at.

Emperor Holby was a good time. If it's possible to "beat" this game, I'd say that's the closest anyone has ever come.
:-*

That was so fun! I miss the MSN chats the most :(

For me, it's always going to be League, and the 3-6 hour runs. It's funny to think that "revival" was 11 years ago, and I still see it as new generation RWL!

Do you mean Duels? I loved Duels so much. I benefited from timezone differences to make elaborate kill runs when everyone else was asleep. I won something like 6 rounds in a row.

Oh, hey calria!

Congrats on your professional writing.

What brings you back RWLing?

The ROC has a rather odd legacy! Not many new faces or websites, but people keep coming back, which is nice. Nostalgia rearing its head again.

Thanks for being wonderful, windy.   :D

It's comforting to know RWL is still going to be here.

What year is it?   :o Are your personalities frozen in time? Have you all been replaced by intelligent bots? Is this an April Fool's Day joke? HOW ELSE COULD THIS BE HAPPENING?

I could cut and paste this whole thread, plonk it down in 2008, and no-one would bat an eye.

Either way, it's weirdly reassuring. But play a bit nicer?

This makes me feel young again. Or very old. I'm not sure.

-Holby, not really modding.

Oh look, a gameplay related post!

RWL has always been different to other Promisance games in terms of playstyle. The vast majority of the membership are from the Redwall Online Community, not from a gaming or Promisance background. We evolved in our own little pond, so to speak.

So while attacking someone more than a handful of times will get you killed anywhere else, it's par for the course here.

Our two most important customs:

1) Online attack at your own peril.
2) Praise Holby for his wisdom, insight, and charm.

We can neither confirm nor deny whether Australia exists. We can tell you that drop bears definitely do exist, however.

It was fairly rubbish, but could have been awesome. The first few chapters are promising,  but then it all gets stupid and fanservicey. I think seeing it in person would be incredible,  though.

Of ours, I remember SLAYER. They typically only lasted a few weeks.

Toilet brands are easier to remember. Shout out to Caroma, inventor of the dual-flush. I changed the toilet seats in my house recently.

I don't even remember most of my Warlord names.

Hey Holby.

What happened to Peace Alliance?
Hey Juska.

I have no idea. I am as much in the dark as you, although he did change his profile picture on Facebook last week. Very beardy.
