There's like 10 people playing, but not a peep?
come on guy's, how's everyone doing this round?
make some noise in here to let peeps know the server isn't dead yet.

Was surprised to see this place still going. Even more surprised that it happens to be the only web based game site not blocked by the corporate net nanny. As I have a fair bit of down time at work, I figured, might as well give this game another try, if I can remember how. Don't  know if anybody will remember me. Probably better if you don't...
So anyway, uhmmm... Hello?

as the title suggests

Is there any real clan action on this server anymore?
I've run turns twice and I'm already bored, though I still have much rust to shake off

So how about it?

for me, the choice is easy
having seen Vokerball 2005 and Rock am Ring 2010
it's Rammstein, hands down, no contest

this is a purely clan based strat I often employ.
And it exactly is what the name implies.

this works best with indy I find, as a good indy can recover faster and easier then a leaderer, and fast recovery is essential.
The basis of this strat is... cannon fodder.
Your whole purpose is to divert attention away from your main net holders and waste as many of  your opponents turns and resources as possible on you instead.

this requires you to be self sufficient, as any aid sent to you will surely be lost, and it also requires you to be able to make fast net and recover quickly from a beat down.

If you are a good, solid, self sufficient indy, the first part should not be too much of a problem. After that, it's have fun. STD, Sack, online, send derogatory msg's, ect. What ever it takes to stir up the hornets nest (provided you are already at war)
Then, make sure to leave yourself with lots of land and high networth to make yourself a juicy target. and don't forget to have an even spread of troops and atleast half a million leaders to inflict heavy casualties on who ever takes the bait.
Then watch as your clan grows because the members whom you are defending go pretty much untouched.

This doesn't work on everyone, but you would be surprised how many do fall into this trap/cycle and ignore the real threat of your clan.

I've been using this strat off and on for many years, and it's always been effective

I just wanted to remind everyone that Holby currently has more then 1000 times the net of the highest ranked member of the resistance.

again, that's well over 1000 times the networth

never thought I'd ever own a Ford, but I really like this car

specifically for those who play guitar and/or bass
I'm a bit of a gear junky and am very interested in peoples tone and choice of equipment

and so I ask
what kinda music do you play, and what level do you play at? (basement player, garage band, perfoming, professional, ect.)
and what gear do you own, and what gear do you hope to own?

personally
I play bass professionally in an off and on touring metal band called Throttlecaster, and during our hiatus, which should end in a couple weeks when Erko gets back from Estonia, I've been playing with a local garage band, as well I play worship for my church.

I use an Ibanez SR905 (google if you don't know what something is) for my primary
Ibanez SR405 for back up
both with DR Xtra Life strings
I use an ART tube preamp, Tech 21 Brit overdrive, Vox classic wah, Berhinger chorus, Line6 DL4 delay. (yes I run alot of FX for a bass player)
for church I run my old Peavey Combo 115 with a Gallien Kruger RBH 210 external cab
for on the road, I run a Traynor Dynabass 200 and a Dynabass 200T run in stereo to give 400watts

I would like to upgrade my amps, but have not decided to what yet
prolly end up with a Gallien Kruger or Hartke rig, my preference is to use a 1X15 and a 4X10 cab together

now I know there are other musicians here, I'd love to discuss gear and tone
