Now this is probably going to be short lived - but I just wanted to have a moment of pride.

Once upon a time someone drew a picture of me that I used as my avatar for a while. Whoever can find the picture I'm thinking of wins. :D

Does anyone remember the name of the clan I made in the first age?

If you can tell me the right answer I will give you a prize....

It has been suggested that I don't really know how to play this game, because I don't know(or care) about the formulas which lie behind the game, I don't calculate what my net worth will be in 200 turns or figure out exactly how many skiffs I'm going to earn next turn. I also don't really care about those things.

The kinds of things that I find fun are a lot more random and undetermined than that.

The way the game is being played right now is more like a game of chess or backgammon than anything fun and chaotic.

Ereptor is winning. But I don't care. Because he's winning a math contest and not a war.

It would be good if there were some way to make this game more chaotic and less math-driven. Change the formulas, add rand() to all of them, hide the complicated math. Make Redwall Warlords a game about Warlords and not Redwall Trigonometry.

Real wars aren't predictable. Nor should wargames be.

 Something that I have always thought should be implemented is the ability to buy and sell land on the open market(as opposed to mercenary land on Turbo) I think this would add a quite interesting new dynamic to the game.

The sweet aroma of glue filled her nostrils as she lifted a bowl of the heavenly nectar to her lips. With a melancholy sigh she inhaled the fumes which rose from its tepid surface. She adored everything about it. The musty smell as her menservants squeezed it from its bottle, like a melange of expensive perfumes imported from foreign parts. The way it flowed, like the waters of the Nile. Its opaque, pearly white color, like milk from udders belonging to the cows of Bashan. She was attuned to its every movement in the sultry desert heat, and it was glorious. She needed nothing other than the bowl of glue which was in front of her.

It was then that she awoke, and shivered. No longer was she reclining on a bed of cushions out in the sultry desert heat, surrounded by menservants, with her divine bowls of glue. She was in Siberia, and there was a blizzard. Worst of all, it was the third year of the glue shortage; there would be no glue tonight. Oh, how she yearned for glue, it was her only solace in life, and it had been taken from her. No more would she taste the glorious flavor, the life-giving nectar of the desert. She huddled down in her sleeping bag, and wept bitterly. There would be no glue tonight.

And with that I return. I'm glad to see the administration is still corrupt, and the HPR's still care. The more things change, the more they stay the same.
