Spa Room 101 / Computer build
August 25, 2013, 08:16:35 AM
Just finished building my first PC and it seems to turn on and work! Just installing Windows as I type this.

Such relief (I was sure I'd messed something up).

Might post updates + pics if I can be bothered.

Help / Bugs / Desposit Max bugged?
June 28, 2013, 04:34:32 PM
Just clicked the "Deposit Max" button on Cluny's hut and I get this:

QuoteMaximum Balance:   $20,576,944,842
Current Balance:   $20,728,507,894

I know it's not a big discrepancy, but it's a discrepancy nonetheless.

Edit: I had about 10 bil cash in there already when I hit deposit max, not sure if that's significant.

Development / Handy Stuff in my Sidebar by default?
June 03, 2013, 05:10:45 PM
Can I suggest making the "Handy Stuff in my Sidebar" appear by default? The manage army page is hidden a little in the top right where I'm sure not everybody is going to look for it.

This is also a good move due to the importance of tax/troop settings/economic settings in 3.0, like I've said earlier I'm not sure everyone finds the manage army page, and even if they do, the "Hand Stuff" option isn't very noticeable (going to the manage army page everytime you want to change any of these settings is very time consuming). Besides which, without this the right hand is just wasted space, all it displays is currently active users (which I don't actually find myself looking at very often)

Development / Turns spent building?
May 19, 2013, 05:07:17 PM
At the top of the build page, the game helpfully states:

QuoteYou can build x Structures per turn.

Unfortunately I'm often not bothered enough to work out how many turns building "y" number of structures can take, so it's mostly guesswork (I appreciate this is an easy thing to work out using a calculator, but I doubt many players bother doing so).

I was wondering if it might be a good idea to include a dynamic counter at the bottom of the page?

QuoteBuilding the above will take z turns

Development / loyalty cost of buffs?
February 13, 2012, 04:22:48 PM
I just had a disatrous run where I spent about 100 turns using the industrial buff, and 14k barracks, when I had my troop training percentages set to 0%  >.<

Is it an ok idea to make it so that the loyalty cost is times by the percentage of troop training you have?

e.g.

loyalty cost = currently loyalty cost * ((all troop traning %'s added together)/100)

that way it's obvious when you've not set your percentages, and it might be nice if you happen to need to go less than 100% (for whatever reason) but still wish to use the buff?

Predictably Sevah has rage quit as soon as times started getting hard . . . I wish I could say I'm surprised but I'm afraid I'm not.

EDIT: typo, thanks PA :)
