Clans / Cloud's Legion

So now that the  new round has started I will be creating a Clan once I get out of protection called: Cloud's Legion.

I will only be around for about 1/2 of this round, so I have no desire to try and win this one; I will instead focus my efforts on training people on the art of 3.0 and how to be relatively successful at it. Anyone is welcome to join as long as you're willing to listen and improve yourself.

I got sacked for over 1.5% of my cash per hit today. I thought you said it was .5%. Seems bugged or broken.

You find Noah Calhoun (#10) failing to capture one of your cities.

In the battle, you lost:
0 Leaders
10,753 Workers

Yet he still managed to take my cities.

I ran a few hours ago and hit about 425mill NW. I log on to see that I have been bashed in by Permian and had my NW decreased by quite a bit. However, I'm at max turns after maybe 3 hours, have more cash on hand, and SIGNIFICANTLY less troops on the market and food. Additionally according to my math I also started with less troops when I started getting hit (What I previously had before I ran today). Also I ended the towers on 20% huts and 80% towers. I've now got camps...game's effed.

Also a forum post of mine is missing. Usually if I say something the mods don't like it gets edited and not completely removed. So I'm really really confused and disgruntled as to what happened.

This isn't some sarcastic ego boost post, despite me hovering around the top right now.

I really feel that even though I'm clearly one of the more competent players right now that I won't be able to sustain my position without some support. So far I have been running completely solo, but am currently recruit supporters and/or followers to help me (and you) obtain victory in this turbo round.

Development / New Land Mechanic?

I think there should be an option as to what types of buildings you can defend the most. Under Army options have a % of your defenses that you want allocated to protect certain buildings. Lets say I want to keep my huts so I allocate 75% of my defences to them and 25% spread through the rest. That's kind of how war works since you make your more valuable bases more defensible.

Just a suggestion.

Sevz has been broken and is out of resources. Around 10mil rats can continue to break him.

I have few defenses and can easily be broken on anything except skiffs. So Warlords, your freedom is now in your hands, what you choose to do with it is your choice.

Ice and Fire rounds are always land starved because land gets locked up in your own clan.

Also in order to pull this off with max efficiency all the indiers need to produce the same troop type, preferably rats because they don't eat as much cash, grab the most last and are overall the most efficient to lose.

The indies will need to get rid of the troops asap for the leaderers to hold onto. Once we accumulate about 1bill NW all the troops should be sent to a Rat so that they can start hitting the emp with battlefield healers to minimize losses and not receive desertion. Even if we don't break him the first attempt it should still cost him considerably and we can get it done the next time.

Also, the last time I played one of these rounds the emperors didn't have any leaders (or were at a terrible ratio) and were very easy to steal from/murder. Does anyone know if this was ever fixed?

I think it could severely influence the game if a stat % that increased/decreased the amount of land taken per hit was implemmented. I think allowing indy races to grab a higher % of land than leaders would make sense (and I'm a leader player). This would also add an optimal race when attempting kill runs.

As it stands this function is pretty much useless. It makes sense that once you reach a certain point free resources shouldn't be needed, but even just starting out the amount received is so minimal it's not even worth the time to click it.

I believe at 4mil nw (which is pretty hard to get much less than that) I received about $2mil and 500k food. This is generally not even enough to run 1 turn even at that low with minimal troops/leaders.
