General Discussion / Re: Favorite Memories of RWL?
August 11, 2019, 04:28:35 PM
The rivalries with the Sevz and Snare gang. Most of the best and most coordinated teams I've been in were set up basically solely to stop those guys winning (or shut down the old reg server, but that was never that fun).

The kill was a direct result of onlining me halfway through a run. I hope it was worth starting over.
Maybe my memory is wrong here as none of this directly concerns me, but didn't you kill Volkov first?  ??? ??? ???

I repeat again: feeble stuff and feebler still are the excuses. This crap is why most people do not invest the time and effort into this site anymore.

How is being clanned "low risk?" Sure you can produce tonnes but it opens you up completely to takedowns and kills.

And also, plenty of people don't have as much time for this game as you, disl and snare seem to. Conflict out of the gate is v time consuming. And how can you compete when the opposition runs guerilla tactics and runs kill runs outside your time zone? It'd be worth the hassle if it was clan v clan, but you guys don't have it in you to put anything on the line like that.

Last round, all I wanted was a somewhat fair fight, and you guys abused every mechanic and unfair advantage to get an edge. It's tiring to play against. And straight out of the gate you want to relive last rounds conflict. I miss the days when diplomacy was actually important, and it wasn't just the same teams doing the same things over and over like a groundhog Day scenario.

Also, I am neutral in game for the record. But this has really irritated me because it's so classless.

Pretty feeble stuff.  ???
I repeat. Why on earth are you guys wasting multiple runs to kill a team indy that can bounce back in a run? It's like you literally just enjoy being disliked and the atmosphere in-game utterly toxic. It's not like there was anything to initiate this conflict even. Just straight out the bat camping online when you know nobody else will be online and running kill runs....

So it's taken a whole of four days for the round to degenerate, nice going...

Reg Discussion / Regular Awards

You guys know the deal, here are the turbo awards for the round just concluded. Fill your own nominations!

Best player: Difficult in a round full of vets. Windy for how skillfully he dodged conflict and amassed huge amounts of net
Worst player: Most people were pretty competent, so going to leave blank
Best indy: depends how you measure. I thought all of RLA's Indies were more effective at net production than team Sevz, but that Caesar and HPR were more effective at net destruction. Sharp was pretty consistently effective though
Worst indy: Neverdull didn't seem to do much
Best leader: Windy or Sevz
Worst leader: Unsure of this one again
Best newcomer: Graceclaw came a long way from the start of the round, shout out to hin
Most disappointing: HPR for never logging off/the clan hopping
Best clan: RLA
Best solo player: Windy
Most surprising: that vaca abuse was finally properly fixed

Good battle all, not enamoured with some of the tactics used but fp you guys still dug in and fought hard even when you were down and out.

That's how the 3.0 market works, yes
Oh lol, it's been so long since I played 3.0 I don't even remember. Still a good idea and if that's already coded and ready to go that gets my vote.

Ok, I hadn't seen Juska's or Volk's reply, and since was directed at me I made a joke response. You want to make some stupid flame, but your point here is, as usual, so widely off the mark that you're really just making yourself look bad.

My food was 125,655,646,155 Food, and all of that was mine.

Multiply that by (10/525) = 2,393,440,879

2. Manus (#35)
$2,017,930,034 with 47,666 Acres

It's better to be feared/irritating than loved anyway.
