Woodlanders from all over flee the buring woods, some joining up with the pro-cheese army of the Windhounds.  The burning of the forrest seemed a very cruel and evil thing to do, thus turning many against the anit-cheesers.

Scouts were sent out to determine the strenth of the threat that followed them, and upon reporting back, windhound was saddened to learn that Kilkenne's forces were back in the picture.  Once again slightly less than a million troops would be fighting against the pro-cheesers.
"windhound, Kilkenne has constructed a fortress, too close for comfort to the cheese lands.  What are we to do?"  a scout said upon returing.
windhound sighed, then replied, "We shall wait for them to make the first move, rearming ourselves as we do.  Post senturies, and have an hourly check done to ensure none are sleeping on the job, we will have no more nighttime raids.  Send out foraging parties, we will need a good amount of food as well.  Soon we may be able to construct a fortification of our own, but it will take time and careful planning,  we must not be caught off gaurd again."

quietly says "I voted not enough evidence..."
*ducks the rotten vegiation chucked at him*
I really dont think there can ever be enough evidence to prove anything done via the internet.  For instance, my brother is Windpaw's Pack, #93, and he found a rather weak horde with a ton of land, so after he logged out I signed in and got a bit of land...  I know that this is only one instant, and that there seems to be tons of times that the blade clan did this, but, well, it can never be proven solidly unless they say in writing "I cheated"
atleast, that is my oppinion...

windhound sighed in resignition.  He turns to his devistated army.
"We fought for the honor of cheese, yet the foe is too strong.  We retreat now, but we shall return..."
Yet, as a final sign, evey soldier was ordered to make a makeshift bow and 5 arrows a piece.  Fires were started, arrows ignited, and more than 300,000 flaming arrows flew into Deathclaw's camp.
With that, the Windhounds turned from the direction of their foes and marched off, tripple time.  Knowing that Deathclaw's force could not possibly raise up and follow them while tending to injuries and mending tents, the Windhounds turned farther south, towards the lands of cheese where even the most dedicated anti-cheese army would never follow.  They hoped to meet with Ashyra Nightwing's force there, and then they would be a force to be reconned with.

note:   "My troops were recruited on the basis that they hated cheese"
was that mentioned before I posted?
"The cheese was spread all over, and some of the newer soldiers tried some. Most decided that they liked it and at once deserted the anti-cheesers..."  Also, you now have 1 bil troops because you are using Kilkenne's.  Kilk's troops need to go if Kilkenne shalnt post anymore.  You are violating your own set rules.

If you did not mention the fact that your troops were admitted on the basis they hate cheese, accept your losses,  my troops were armed, so there.  If you will make up your rules as you go along, fine.  whatever.

note:  *grumbles*  Deathclaw, do you ever read my posts?  I mean, there is not point in posting if you dont read them.  100,000 of your troops deserted because they like cheese, perfectly reasonable, much more so than 200,000 badgers joining the cause.  So, you no longer have 1 bil troops in your camp and my troops were armed.  My troops also deserted the surrounding areas, and would have been much harder to find than you made seem.  I PROTEST!!!  yep...

note:  I really couldnt care which side I took, cheese or non cheese, I took to the cheesy side in this rp to try to make it more interresting, Kilkenne and Deathclaw had gone to the dark-side of the anti-cheesers, so I decided to make opposition.   :)

windhound had walked away when Martin said that he was still undecided, but he decided to keep a watch on the new force that had appreared.
As he watched the meeting with Ashyra Nightwing, he decided that he might make his presence known, and possibly offer his assistance.
"I have runners that can and will be dispatched to your forces away, for we shall need them now to help defeat the great evil anti-cheesers that hope to do away with all cheese.  I am windhound, and my small force of around 165,000 await in the hills to march for cheese."

windhound sends an envoy to the forces led by Martin The Warrior asking for them to drop their neutral status and join with them in the fight to protect cheese.

The adders awoke early that morning, each with a terrible headache, and slithered out quietly, gliding towards the camp of the anti-cheesers.  Each carried 1 million units of cheese on carts which they towed behind them.  Upon reaching enemy camp, the picked up speed abruptly, gliding swiftly through the huge camp.  The cheese was spread all over, and some of the newer soldiers tried some.  Most decided that they liked it and at once deserted the anti-cheesers, heading for the camp of the Windhounds.
When windhound awoke later, he found many more troops, many bearing the sign of Deathclaw on their armor and weapons.  windhound was very confused, but quite pleased to see the new recruits, which totaled 100,000, each bringing with them armor and wepons.  windhound took his new army southwards abruptly, fearing that Deathclaw and Kilkenne would not take the loss of their troops lightly.

note:   :P   disable my adders will you?  fine, take that!  I dont care anymore, and I apologise for complaining earlier. :)

note:  I semi apollogise for my statement, I have problems with decimal placements, though there is no way that you killed all my adders and all left me with only 29 of my group of 100 archers while losing minimal troops yourself,
~windhound,

EDIT:  also, you said you spell things correctly, please watch your word choices, one doesnt equal won.  yep...

note:  I get tired of posting info that should be obvious.  "Then, a thousand pikes lunged at the archers, killing all but 34."  the archers spread out in groups of 2s, the "pikers" would be hard pressed to kill all but 34, much less capture the 34 remaining.  "foxes were fast, but the scouts and runners were faster"  foxes are the best at speed, you cant deny that, surely weasels and ferrets and such cannot outrun an animal that was made for speed?  squirrels maybe, but few other.  My army dispersed in groups of 200, there is no realistic way that your army could possibly track down enough to kill 3 thousand, then to kill 3 thousand more of my retreating forces?  they were spread out, 3000 could not be killed by arrows at once.   My creativeness has left me to be replaced by discust.  You took the easy way out, you dont always have to win.  goodnight all.

EDIT:  oh, and you said you killed all my adders?  The entire army of King Sargano (spelling) found it rather difficult to kill one female adder, the fact that you killed 18 or so at once is quite surprising.

note:  all 75,000 of your shrews gaurded, what, almost a bil combined troops?  yeah, right, my attack succeeded, and 100 arrows would have killed more than 14 shrews, but whatever...

windhound heard Deathclaw's challenge, but he sniggered in reply.  "Go and boil your head, we'll wait for you ahead."

The previously appointed leaders of the Windhounds separated their commands from the main body, and soon hundreds of groups of about 200 troops each spread out in different directions.  windhound gathered what he could of his group of archers, which amounted to 78, and ran ahead, knowing that no creature could outrun foxes.  He and his band raced ahead, then cut out at a tangent, and then made a half circle back.  Soon they were behind the enemy army.  Quietly, all separated off in pairs, with bows at the ready.  many a foe would die before this ended.

The adders were in their element.  Slithering about the opposing army, they struck faster than wepons could strike, and soon thousands were mortally wounded with the deady venom, with many more targets running about.  It was a good day to be an adder.

note:  hmm... thought I made it clear that Windhounds, capital W and plural, is the name of the horde, and windhound, not capital and singluar, is the commander of the Windhounds....  yep...  further of note is that it really doesnt matter that you didnt notice my previous post, as it makes little difference...

Quite angered by the attack of the anti-cheesers upon his camp, windhound gathered his select few and strode off into the woods.  It wasnt long before he found the mass army of Deathclaw and Kilkenne.  He found the camp slumbering peacefully, and only a few senteries posted, most of whom slumbered on duty.  windhound sniggered to himself, an easy target.  Thanking the fates that the two foxes that were killed were not of his special command, he had his band of 100 fox archers notch arrows to their bows.  One hundred shafts flew into the enemy camp.  windhound withdrew swiftly, not waiting to see how many had been sent to the dark forest by the silent strike.

Arriving back at the main camp, he woke everyone quietly and moved off at double time to a more remote location.

muttering distractedly, windhound moved his band throughout the woods, absorbing more creatures under his command.  He was just informed that a major force is moving against cheese and more troops will be a must.  In addition to his original 20, stoats, rats, ferrets, and even a few birds were joining.  In the space of a week Windhounds had expanded to include 80,000 troops, all miss-matched and unruley, but completly dedicated to the cause of cheese.
Cheezebeak, a sparrow,  was placed incharge of the main force, while windhound maintained complete control of his chosen few, 100 foxes with their wepons of choice and 20 adders.

looking out from a vantage point, he viewed the combined armys of Deathclaw and Kilkenne with apprehenson.  Would his small force beable to make even a dent into the teeming masses below?
