Help / Bugs / Re: Networth aid limits

I'm running maybe twice a week at the moment, same for Sean. Super busy and making no effort to lock and hold the land, or could easily be on double what we are ATM, fyi

Nice clan you've got going there Voklov, I'm genuinely impressed that you've got some friends.
The great news is that your team will go without resistance for another 3-4 more weeks. The old el reliable Wolf Snare has gone inactive so the land production is running slower than expected.

I notice a few extra players have signed up? Excellent news. The more the merrier.
Whoever is running solo, please message me ingame when you're due to run turns and I'll make land available. It's going to be interesting to see what happens this peaceful month.

Can Team Voklov raise an emperor?
And will it be enough to foil the tyrants when February hits?

Lots of questions about this action packed round. How many more players will join this land frenzy? Are we going to see a wildcard team enter the competition and surprise us?
Fake news.

For too long have the proletariat of Redwall suffered under the arbitrary and fascistic rule of warlords and would-be emperors. The dialectic of history demands that all oppressors of the workers, and their running dogs, must eventually be thrown on the ash heap of history. The Redwall Liberation Army is here to free the workers and take back the means of production. No more shall a few profit from the labors of the many! The old order shall be overthrown, and a new Worker's Paradise shall be created in its place. Join the Revolution comrades! Vive La Revolucion!

Reg Discussion / Re: Reg. Themes

Mystery land is an interesting idea, but it just sounds annoying in practice...not the kind of thing I think would add to the round. It'd be busywork having to spend a portion of every run guestimating land from probing strikes, and I think I'd lose interest considering it's a busy time of year anyway.

Fun enough round, though I was really spotty with activity due to dissertation + long shifts atm. Glad Volk got the win anyway, I'll sign up for next round when I get a chance.

Can we actually make this a punishable offence because a) I want to run and this is super-lame b) it's super-lame c) I'm super tired and this is one of a million reasons to not play the server

Reg Discussion / Re: Reg Reset Dec 31st

If you reopen turbo, I'd leave it like a month for a playerbase to establish itself here, though I think the quarterly resets overlapping with monthly resets for turbo would split the playerbase each time this happened.

Yeah, maybe close Turbo and keep Reg, but change it to an RtR turn rate?

General Discussion / Permanent Classic Server
December 02, 2016, 10:02:33 AM
Simple question. My justifications are that it would be a more active server, as we have seen from RtR. I don't think people who wanna come back and relive the nostalgia of the old days get the same buzz off of 3.0, and there's not the numbers of new people coming in anymore to sustain 3.0 as anything other than a playpen really. RtR shows we can have a reasonable active and competitive turbo-esque server, so I think we should keep running it.

^the point is you vote in every category, not just one as a way to single people out. You're doing the exact thing you accused me of doing - why do you have to be so vindictive?

I didn't make this thread to insult Honour, lol; I used to make one of these threads every turbo round. It just happens that woof won and honour lost, thus woof, in my opinion, were the better clan. Don't be so thin-skinned as to take every little thing as a huge slight against your character...

Edit: also the point of these threads is people vote - my first post isn't a definitive ruling lol, these are democratic awards that let people express themselves. The admins used to do admin awards that were more official. So I never claimed honour being worst clan was fact.

Man let it go lol. We have like, what, three, maybe four threads dedicated to you hating on woof lol? If you have a problem, at this stage best to let it go on the forums and take it out next round yeah.

I feel you need some worst awards, to reflect the winners and losers in the big wars. I didn't even put anyone down for worst player.

Also, add the $3.7bil net I had onto woof's 2bil and they trounce you. If you're counting BW as Honour after being unclanned all round, you can count me as woof despite not being formally clanned at the end. And honour lacking members means they were seen as a less lucrative clan to join then woof - who already had fairly stringent membership requirements. So that's a failing on the part of outreach and leadership, not a success of a plucky underdog (plus you had sevz and snare attached)

Fantastic throwback round!

I really enjoyed the RP posts. If anyone has time to write one for the ending, that would be wonderful.
oooh that's a good shout, I'll do one today if I get a chance.
