Just wondering, and also adding to the spam.

*sniff* I'm spoiling all the lovely sevens in the board's post count...

7 tis the best number it is.
Oh come let's sing Ohio's praise
And songs to Alma Mater raise
  While our hearts rebounding thrill
With joy which death alone can still
   Summer's heat or winter's cold
The seasons pass the years will roll
Time and change will surely show
How firm thy friendship ... OHIO!

No, it's either No. 6900 or 844 or 8444. 6900 is the first DD40AX, 844/8444 is an FEF 3, still operateing too.

EDIT: Though Extra no. 26 is a most instresting machine too.

 pi and 42!
I love those numbers so very much...
They are second only to the number 48... which is special for peculiar reasons known only to myself and Bob Barker.

But, what has No. 42 done for you. Can you name any great acclomplishments of any piece of Railway equment with 'No 42' stincled on it's side, or in the number plate?

No. 6900 had over 6000 HP and was over 120' long.
No. 844/8444 was most likely one of the most capable steamers around, and could easially compete with E and PA units which roamed, and ruled the rails.
