Yep!
Limited playerbase, made a hybrid server.
Reg now resets quarterly has has a turn rate that gives full turns (550/150) every two-ish days.

Round reset, signups off for a min. I have most of the round changes written but 's probably a good idea to test it

though I also think the game is pretty daunting and unintuitive to pick up for a new player

i personally feel like one of the toughest parts is the lack of cohesiveness that drives any feeling of improvement

you just kind of fritter away turns until someone teaches you some basic strategies, but I want that to lead to more interactive, emergent gameplay

I know this has been something a number of very intelligent, & exceedingly perceptive developers have been trying to figure out for years. Makes me wish there wasn't so much bad blood between the different communities & circles, so that maybe a mature discussion could be shared~

Everyone was sorta flailing around, so it didn't take much to be average at the game when most everyone was terrible at it.

Now it's basically like joining a CS or Halo server that's been up for years, those left playing have super optimized strats and it's tougher to just jump in.

in a way, I feel like one of the only ways to marry the Prom functions w/ mobile interfaces would be to have some 3rd party/intermediary java program... Certainly not ideal where entry is concerned~

Sorry if the site's a little flakey today guys, ASO is having issues with their nameservers. I've put a fix in, but DNS propogation can take a few hours.
