I figure it's all right to ask this question, since it's not a troop, and they're practically useless. I was just wondering, since I was espionaging lately, and I have 6 times more workers than the other hordes seem to. I had 600,000+ workers, so I'm wondering if it's just the hordes I'm spying on, or just me.

You must be crazy. I have little over 1/3 that much.

Shael of Torethevel

*nods* I thought that was weird. You can't really control how much workers you get, you can really only control it by the amount of land you get. I don't even have that much land, for someone of my nw. I'm close to Retto now, and he has 20,000 more acres than me. I'm not sure how many workers he has though.

actually, workers are good, they pay taxes which means more money for you, which means you can support more troops, which means you'll be stronger, which means you can attack people better, which means you can get a lot of land and your networth will be really high.

see, workers AREN'T useless  :D

There is annother way to control the flow of workers: Taxes.  Raise taxes to get more money but loose workers, lower taxes to get more workers but less money.

I have a question for the Admins: How much do workers eat?

whoa... I only have a little over 400,000...

**clears throat** Workers consume a total of 0.01 pieces of food each per turn. Your amount of workers is also relative to the following things:

The amount of used land you have
The amount of free land you have
The amount of tents you have

Each holds a certain amount of workers. The amount of workers which can be held by a tent or either type of land is directly relative to your tax rate. The amount of money you earn per worker is also dependent on your tax rate. Markets work independently, and earn a steady amount each no matter what the conditions, though they do raise your per capita income, which works into the income formula in a way that most of you wouldn't understand even if I told you, judging by previous reactions I've gotten.

And todays big secret to be revealed.... Umm, no. I don't think I'll tell you.
