Definitely a fun round to get re-acquainted with the game. Now with kills enabled, forming a clan for it's benefits will require a different thought process with the risk involved. Should be an interesting development indeed. Motivation is there! Hopefully able to be a bit more competitive.

Anyway, looking forward to another fun set.

Is this really true? Why??

When I found out, I couldnt actually kill someone I thought of buying out the markets, keeping an eye on NW's that were going up and than performing Steal. However, the cash goes towards cluny's hut first and only drips out of the bank into the regular account, which also makes that a worthless strat.

I get the feeling this code is designed to protect the time and effort people put in to playing this game.

The common denominator of successful games is competitiveness.

I'm sorry if I sounds like I'm complaining a lot, just trying to help.

Just to get back on topic. Will a decision be made on how Redwall will be moving forward with regards to killing?

Hi Windhound, thanks for your quick response.

Nutshell; Someone can only be killed when in a clan. Also, if someone does not have a sufficient amount of loyalty saved up, killing someone is next to impossible. I had Scorpion send me loyalty in order to heal, after my run I only had approx 100 turns left. Which means that if I had to loot or scoot or forage to get health up, it would not have been enough.

To remedy this, perhaps make grabs under 500 50% more difficult. That would mean you would require at least to people actively hitting in order to kill.

Still I think killing someone that is clanned "needs" to be possible. That's the risk of being clanned and having the benefit of indef. landgrabs, aiding etc.

Anyway. hope a dialogue can be opened. At least we know Dark and Charlie would have been killed ;)

Guys, Absolutely ridiculous.

Charlie Zelenoff at 1 land. I get the message, "Watcha Tryin to do? Kill'em? Sorry, not currently allowed"

Absolute waste of time? What's the endgame of this promisance here? See who can hord most troops on the market? What is the use of having clans? Just to make landgrabs easy?

If your afraid people will not play again if they are killed in game, get more players.

Hi guys,

Quick question.

Comparing the cost of troops in the mercenary tab... How come a Wolf has (a lot) cheaper prices than a Rat... A Rat is supposedly +25% cheaper than the average and a Wolf 15% more expensive.

Hi guys,

Has there been given any thought about actively marketing this platform on other Promisance games for example "Earth Empires"

The gameplay is more or less the same (based on same sc) but has a decent amount of players. Creating some topics on their message boards and sending out in-game messages should do the trick to get the active player numbers up....

Not complaining about the activity levels of course  :-X I just think it deserves more attention. let me know what you think and how to coordinate.

Any tips with regards to a decent Magpie strategy... It sounds delicious and similar to the old Gnome..
