City vs. camp
« on: December 09, 2011, 08:00:41 AM »

A city is 100 land, but worth what? I know it has camps and something else...

After that is answered, I will go on to my question.

city is 1000 land, and it gives you 1000 tents and 500 camps.

Aggressive and weak have no correlation. I know a bunch of weak people that are aggressive, and if they get aggressive towards the wrong people they get put in their place. Know your place.

Let's go, say that to mah face...5 words: I don't give a crap! >:

Oh ok right.

Am I right in saying tents house workers, and camps give you faster market time and better mercs prices?

That is correct. But also remember that camps are only effective up to 30% of your total land being in camps.

They reduce in effectiveness after 30, unless that recently got patched out. It took ~50% of your land in them to get to 40% effectiveness.

no, we changed it up a while ago - the effect is linear up to 40%, then cuts off.

Define "A while ago". We'll talk about this later, because what I have indicates it's nonlinear past 30.

it was back when we did the race balancing - it become necessary in order to code out the troop loop.

EDIT: just tested on test server, it is linear there for painted one. I'll check turbo later.
