I've never read the books. But I did at one point research Brian's life. What an amazing life it was!

i think its a good idea to put something together, it's a real shame he passed away and that only 1 more book will be released.

I think that would be great. Make a topic for it maybe? about what we are going to put?

Well, it's a literary magazine so the only things we can submit are articles, fanfiction, or artwork. We can either write about how Redwall brought us together as a community (even though almost half our members have never read the books), or write a fanfiction staged in the RWL universe.

a fanfiction as in a mini story type thing? we could include all our members names ect. it would be pretty cool.

We could use this very much in respect to Brian. And being a little selfish as a promotion and get our name out a little more. But it will all be for brian and his redwall series

Redwall was an important part of my childhood. Even though now I'm all big and grown up, and no longer have much of an interest in the series, I'd kind of expected Jacques would be writing for years to come.

Even so, I don't think this signals the end of the Redwall universe.  In the same way books like The Hobbit and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe still capture the minds and imaginations of kids generations on.

RIP Brian Jacques.

Now the only thing I can do is wait for "The Rogue Crew" to come out...

Mr.Grimm

I know this post is a late, but I didn't hear about his death until I went on here today. Thank Brian for all the memories of reading your books and making a new world for me to explore when I was young. I spent many a happy days when I was younger daydreaming that I was part of that world. So thanks Brian. Thanks a lot. :'(
