So I've got an autofarm on one of the minecraft player servers.
Server allows griefing, you have to claim land to protect it, etc.  I havn't really bothered with the faction thing, I just like to fart around and wander the server.  My little brothers are much more involved than I am.

Anyways, today I login and think its been found.  The farm has been activated, water still flowing, all but one piece of wheat (takes 63 to make 21 bread) and the seeds taken, but then I look around and its intact -- with the exception of my two pet snowmen, they were dead.  They may have just fallen into the water though...  pretty dumb.
Wondering if someone actually came by and just helped themselves to some food (as per my sign) or if it was a server glitch.  Unless someone leaves a sign I don't guess I'll know





This thing is in the middle of an ocean btw, I probably went 2000 blocks over water without seeing land before I found the small island I based it off of.
I thought it was in the middle of nowhere, but then after setting it up I wandered 150 blocks and found another (griefed and probably abandoned) base.  Also, a mooshroom island not far from that. 
So meh.

Mooshrooms.  So creepy.

Soo...  I forgot about my bot script on the Turbo reset.
Numbers 6, 7, 8, and 9 were bots last time -- they weren't running quite right, so most people probably didn't notice.
Thus, numbers 6, 7, 8, and 9 this round were still considered bots this round
The bots are programmed to only run if they have full turns, thus the reason they didn't always go.

So for our April (fools) round of Turbo I've set loose a batch of NPC players, named after the My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series.

I know a few of you don't pay attention to Turbo or the game in general, but you all should signup and play.

Hey all
So we're shifting the focus of the round. 
You may notice there are 22 new players on the score board, these are each controlled by a script I wrote. 
In other words, they're NPC's.

Quick note:
They've each scouted and made a first run, from now on they will behave within the confines of the game
If you notice numbers 34 - 55 making an 'illegal' move, please let me know.  I've tested these things for a week now with Shadow's help.  They certainly are not designed to be the ultimate players, but moderate ones.  They can attack, their targets chosen at random.  They will also attack each other, everyone is fair game.

So yep.
Our April round is now RWL: Ponies Attack!

Next round should be another Standard round theme wise, but we're doing' something special.

Unfortunately the chatbox isn't hanging around anymore, the one we were using doesn't appear compatible with SMF 2.
I"ll figure something out later.

Hey all
I just sent a mass message to everyone in Reg, but I know there's some of you guys with vacation'd accounts you'd like to retain access to.

The 'global login' setup simply uses your forum account for everything, no more separate game logins.  And if you're already logged into the forum you'll get links to the games instead of a login box on the homepage.  
Makes signups for turbo a lot easier as well.

Reg isn't quite ready for a reset, and RWL3 isn't ready.  But I've been sitting on this code for a couple months now and its enough of an improvement to warrant going ahead with.  
Inorder for this to work without resetting reg I need to manually join reg accounts to forum accounts.
So just ingame message me (#2), or PM me if you don't want to break vacation, with your forum login name and/or reg account, info depending on which you send to.

This should be done on the evening of the 28th right after turbo resets (so the turbo reset will take a little longer, I'll take down both game servers during the update)

Hey guys
Most of you noticed that RWL was down for most of the day...  it took longer than I'd planned, but everything seems to be up and working on the new server.

If you find something that doesn't seem right let me know.  Most everything is fixable for the moment, later it might not be as easily fixed.
Now's the time.

As Kilk played around on the beta and helped design RWL3 he knows quite a bit about it.

He's offered to help people learn the game, and the easiest way to do that is to observe the account as you use turns. 
I've granted him a limited admin account for this round so that he can do so, its bright pink and hangin' out down at the bottom of the scores with the rest of the admin accts.

Any questions about game play can be sent to #3 (Shadow) #9 (Kilk) or ofcourse any of the other players who have volunteered their help.
